In this podcast we learn all about Amanda’s passion for creating.
Amanda is a business owner at Ashay Shop and a organization co-owner at Kern Creatives.
Through various classes in high school and college she fell in love with creating,
often sewing her dresses for school daces.

When high school was over Amanda decided to go to BC where she took a deconstructive class and her challenge was to deconstruct old pieces of clothing and give them new life.
Later Amanda went to San Francisco State for college and fell in love with the city.
By falling more and more in love with the city Amanda learned all about different cultures.
Mainly trying to live with to attitude of always being willing to try something new.
There is never one right or wrong person in terms of culture.
We dissect self-doubt in this episode and how Amanda dealt with it.
Opening up about how she had been wanting to start a shop 2 years before she finally did.
Amanda shared about how a name for her shop had her stuck for YEARS.
Self doubt with being a creator and comparing herself to other creators.

They met shortly after Amanda returned home from her trip an idea for a pop up fashion show came to her mind.
She quickly got her friends together and they were going to have a show!
